Fantasy Football Week 5 starters include Darren Waller and Justin Fields

What year is it? Believe it or not Jacob Camenker says these guys should be in consideration for struggling fantasy football rosters in Week 5.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers can’t seem to stay healthy.

Injuries have already dominated the 2025 season for them, despite the team being just one month into the season. As Chris Godwin geared up for his Week 4 return, Mike Evans made space for him by suffering a hamstring injury in Week 3.

Bucky Irving is the latest Bucs player to join that group, dealing with a foot and shoulder injury ahead of Week 5.

With Tampa Bay slated to play in the late window on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, Irving’s status remains one of the more important ones to monitor.

Here’s the latest on Tampa’s star running back.

Bucky Irving injury update

Irving has been ruled out with a foot and shoulder injury for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks.

The running back was seen wearing a walking boot ahead of Week 5 and didn’t participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday, raising concerns about his potential absence. Irving has been a key contributor in his one season-plus as the Buccaneers’ running back.

Irving rushed for 1,122 yards in his rookie season, playing in all 17 games.

The former Oregon Duck hasn’t been as effective as a runner in his second season, averaging just 3.3 yards per carry compared to 5.4 in 2024. However, Irving made up for it in the passing game, bringing his receiving total from 23.1 yards per game last year to 48.3 this season.

If nothing else, at least the Buccaneers’ offense remains one of the league’s more explosive units even without operating at full strength.

Buccaneers RB depth chart

Here’s a look at who the Buccaneers will have at RB without Irving on Sunday:

White is no stranger to the starting role in Tampa’s offense. He famously held that spot before Irving was drafted in 2024 and remains a dual threat in the offense.
