Clark edges Churchill 28-21 in thrilling Gucci Bowl clash at Farris Stadium

SAN ANTONIO – Clark beat Churchill 28 to 21 in a close game in Thursday night’s highly anticipated Gucci Bowl at Farris Stadium.

It was the 45th installment of the Gucci Bowl.

And it was all Churchill in the first half.

Kalob Rond spinning his way into the endzone for his second touchdown of the game. But hang on everybody, check this one out.

He gets the rock again and makes a nice cutback at the 25, then a hurdle and he stays on his feet. Just a jaw-dropping play.

But the undefeated Clark Cougars are not going down without a fight. Xavier Canavis — going right up the middle — ties the game up at 21.

The X-Man was the bell cow for the Cougars tonight. With under 20 seconds to go, he punches it in for his second touchdown.

An incredible comeback by Clark. They win the Gucci Bowl 28-21.
