After tying with Green Bay, the Dallas Cowboys head to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets on Sunday. It’ll be a pivotal matchup for the Cowboys, who are still looking for answers to various defensive problems.

– 11:48 left in the second: The Cowboys have their first lead of the day. Brian Schottenheimer called a screen to tight end Jake Ferguson after a tough run from running back Javonte Williams. Dak Prescott found Ferguson quickly and the tight end powered through for the 26-yard touchdown reception. After a few penalties on the extra-point attempt, Brandon Aubrey sent it through the uprights to give Dallas a 7-point lead. Cowboys 10, Jets 3

– End of the first: Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ offense are making some moves as the first quarter ends. Facing a third-and-six, Prescott found George Pickens for a 14-yard gain and a new set of downs.

Dallas is looking to jump ahead as the second quarter begins.

– 5:00 left in the first: It was a pass-heavy first drive for Dallas’ offense. The Cowboys picked up 49 yards on the drive, which included a productive 40-yard gain from Ryan Flournoy. The Cowboys couldn’t finish it off in the end zone. Brandon Aubrey hits a chip shot from 35 yards out to tie it up. Cowboys 3, Jets 3

– 7:46 left in the first: Dallas’ defense bent, but didn’t break to start the game. Justin Fields and the Jets picked up 66 yards on 13 plays. Dante Fowler came up with a crucial pass breakup in the red zone when a Fields pass hit him in the helmet. The Jets had to settle for three. Jets 3, Cowboys 0

– The Cowboys have won the opening coin toss and defer. Dallas’ defense will take the field first against Justin Fields and the Jets.
