DELHI, La. — Vidalia High School senior Elmari “Juice” Lewis had a game to remember last Thursday night as the Vikings steamrolled to a 48-6 win over the Delhi High School Bears for their second win of the season.
Lewis finished with 238 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. He also threw for 136 and a touchdown pass to Michael Randall Jr., and from his defensive back position intercepted three passes.
“’Juice’ had a great game on offense and defense,” Vidalia head coach Josh West said. “We finally attempted to play complimentary football.”
Randall Jr. also had an all-around outstanding game for the Vikings on both sides of the ball. In addition to his receiving touchdown, he also had a receiving touchdown. And on defense, he took the ball out of Delhi receiver’s hands for a forced fumble. He then picked up the fumble and returned it 10 yards for a touchdown.
“The forced fumble changed the momentum in the game,” West said. “Carlos King had interception on defense and was rewarded with a rushing touchdown. Noah Myers had a rushing touchdown.
