Alabama State football (4-1, 2-0) flew by Bethune-Cookman (2-4, 1-1) at ASU Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 4 for its fourth straight win; setting up the most anticipated matchup in the SWAC this season against Jackson State (4-1, 2-0). The Tigers took down Alabama A&M on Saturday, handing the Bulldogs their second SWAC loss of the season.

Alabama State and Jackson State remain the only teams in the SWAC East Division without a conference loss, setting up an important scenario for both teams as it pertains to the SWAC championship game in December.
