Eight former Penn State players signed with NFL teams, with five being selected in the draft and three more signing as undrafted free agents. Though Kevin Winston Jr. hasn’t yet suited up for the Tennessee Titans as he rehabs from injury, the other former Nittany Lions have picked new jersey numbers.

Abdul Carter, New York Giants

The star defensive end has gone through an interesting process, requesting retired numbers 11 and 56 which were both denied, but he’s settled on a combination of the two with No. 51.

Tyler Warren, Indianapolis Colts

The first-round tight end was seen wearing No. 84 at practice, different than the No. 44 he wore during all five seasons at Penn State.

Jaylen Reen, Houston Texans

The safety surprisingly fell to the sixth round, but was selected by the Texans and could prove to be a steal. He’s currently wearing No. 34 after wearing No. 1 as a Nittany Lion.

Kobe King, Minnesota Vikings

The linebacker is sticking with his roots. King has been wearing No. 41, which he wore during four seasons in Happy Valley.

Sal Wormley, Jacksonville Jaguars

After being signed as an undrafted free agent and joining former Nittany Lions Parker Washington and Brenton Strange in The Sunshine State, Wormley has been wearing No. 61.

Jalen Kimber, Tennessee Titans

The cornerback surprisingly fell out of the draft before being signed, but he’ll be switching things up, going from No. 3 to No. 35.

Coziah Izzard, Kansas City Chiefs

Though it’s not quite as high as the No. 99 he wore at Penn State, the defensive tackle has been wearing No. 93 with the Chiefs.
