Rookie offensive lineman Josh Simmons was added to the Kansas City Chiefs‘ injury report just minutes before the defending AFC champions’ Week 5 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on ‘Monday Night Football.’
Simmons is dealing with an illness and is said to be questionable to play in tonight’s game.

The Chiefs selected Simmons with the No. 32 pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft earlier this year, and have seen him thrive as their starting left tackle.
NFL insider Adam Schefter shared the news of Simmons’ placement on Kansas City’s injury report in a post to Twitter shortly before kickoff:
If Simmons needs to miss the Chiefs’ tilt against Jacksonville, head coach Andy Reid is likely to turn to veteran offensive linemen Wanya Morris or Jaylon Moore to fill in as Patrick Mahomes’ blindside protector.
Stay tuned to find out if Simmons will play or if he will miss Kansas City’s primetime matchup at EverBank Stadium.
