The Indianapolis Colts worked out a few defensive backs on Monday, including a former first-round draft pick.

According to Aaron Wilson, the Colts had in safety Lewis Cine for a workout. Cine was a first-round draft pick out of Georgia by the Minnesota Vikings in 2022.

Over his career, which has been spent with Minnesota, Philadelphia, and Buffalo, Cine has only 10 career defensive snaps.

He has played 134 snaps on special teams as well, according to PFF.

If the Colts are going to add Cine to their roster, my guess is that it would come on the practice squad.

The Colts recently signed Trey Washington from their own practice squad to the 53-man roster, a few days before Daniel Scott was placed on injured reserve.

Along with Cine, the Colts also had in cornerback Kendall Fuller for a workout as well.

A third-round pick in 2016, Fuller is a very experienced player, having appeared in 128 games, which includes 104 starts.

In his most recent season with Miami, Fuller allowed a completion rate of 63% on 43 targets at 11.7 yards per catch with five pass breakups.

Cornerback continues to be a position for the Colts where their depth is being tested.

Along with having these two players in for workouts, Shane Steichen said the Colts will be bringing in some kickers this week with Spencer Shrader out for the season.
