But after the Rams’ embarrassing loss to Brown on Friday night at the minor league soccer stadium in Pawtucket, the Rams have fallen dramatically.

It is the first win for the Bears in the Governor’s Cup rivalry with URI since 2017, Brown’s first win over a ranked opponent since 2009, and the first win over a nationally ranked top-10 opponent since they defeated URI in 1981.

Now, the Rams are ranked #18 in the AFCA poll and #17 in the Stats Perform FCS.

The 4-2 Rams play UNH on Saturday at Meade Stadium.
