Source: Raiders sign veteran LB Jaylon Smith after tryout

Veteran linebacker Jaylon Smith is signing with the Las Vegas Raiders after a weekend tryout, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Sunday.

Smith, 29, now returns to the Raiders, the team he appeared in one game for in 2023.

Smith didn’t play in the NFL last season.

Drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2016 draft, Smith has 626 tackles in seven seasons.
