Minnesota Vikings linebacker Jonathan Greenard has admitted he sees a little Nick Chubb in Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins after they faced off.
The Vikings’ double-headed European tour came to an end on Sunday, with Minnesota escaping Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a 21-17 win over Cleveland, a week after they were beaten in Dublin by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Trailing late in the fourth quarter, Quarterback Carson Wentz led Minnesota downfield, eventually connecting with wide receiver Jordan Addison on a game-winning touchdown pass with just 25 seconds left.
However, while Minnesota came away from the game with a win, some of the biggest talking points to emerge from London were the performances of Cleveland’s 2025 rookie class. Quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who was making his first start for the Browns impressed, as did Judkins.

The former Ohio State running back had four 10-plus yardage plays for Cleveland, eventually finishing with 110 rushing yards on 23 carries, which was the first 100-yard game of his career.
He also caught a pass from Gabriel, which he took for 18 yards.
While the Vikings would have preferred to limit Judkins’s big day on the ground, sometimes the best players can overcome the best laid plans to stop them.
Speaking to Mirror US Sports after the game against the Browns, Greenard admitted he was impressed by Judkins, comparing him to former Cleveland star Nick Chubb, who was one of the NFL’s best runners before suffering a brutal knee injury in 2023.
“He was good, man,” said Greenard.
“We talked about him all week. We knew he was a good running back, good jump-cut, hits it, like I said, north and south, stocky running back that’s not going to go down on the first contact. I mean, when you are running behind those guys and their O-line, and obviously hats off to them. They had a really good game plan.
“Coach Stefanski has a great game plan every time when I played him. I played him every single year in my career.
“To see his run game evolve and stuff like that and to have another younger running back like that, it kind of reminded me of Chubb of my rookie year when he was playing.
“Kind of how he gets through the hole, a physical back. I’m excited to see him build. Obviously I didn’t want to see him build against us, but’s a good with back, man, really good back.”
