Jameis Winston is one of those long-shot trade ideas for the Cincinnati Bengals that continue to make the rounds with fans and some media members.
One of those media members happens to be former NFL cornerback Richard Sherman.

After word got out that Zac Taylor might make a quarterback change, Sherman posted this on his social media: Send Jameis to Cincy! “Now that would be fun offensive football to watch.”
Fun might be the operative word when talking about the Bengals right now.

After all, the Jake Browning experience after Joe Burrow’s injury has been unwatchable football. They’ve taken 48-10, 28-3 and 37-24 losses over that span, with the last score needing some frankly fluke plays to avoid being uglier.
Winston is 31 years old now and threw 13 scores and 12 picks in Cleveland over 12 games last year. But he’s a known commodity who will take risks and push the ball deep to guys like Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, hence the fun factor.

With the defense improved and the best wideout group in the NFL, it’s no wonder onlookers like Sherman keep floating names like Winston, Russell Wilson and others for the Bengals.
