The Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles drew the biggest audience for a CBS singleheader window in over a decade.

Austin Karp of Sports Business Journal reports that the network drew 19.6 million viewers on Sunday, the best for that type of broadcast since 2013.

The total isn’t exactly how many folks watched the Broncos since it also includes the smaller number of CBS affiliates that showed Ravens-Texans and Giants-Saints.

The audience saw a dramatic Broncos comeback win, scoring 18 unanswered in the fourth quarter to improve to 3-2 on the season. And it came against the reigning Super Bowl champions, who had been undefeated.

It’s understandable how the game attracted many eyeballs and likely caught a few that were scoreboard watching.

It is worth pointing out that the TV audience measurement systems have changed in the last few years, which has led to much bigger numbers. So a comparison of 2025 to 2013 isn’t great but an audience that large is something only an NFL game or an award show could draw in the country.

For the Broncos, with an easy schedule ahead for the coming five weeks, it means broadcasters could look at flexing Denver into some prime games down the stretch.
