JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (KLTV) – Former Whitehouse Wildcat Patrick Mahomes accounted for 378 yards of total offense in the Chiefs’ 31-28 loss to Jacksonville on Monday.
Mahomes completed 29 of 41 passes for 318 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He also ran for 60 yards and a touchdown.
Mahomes connected with Travis Kelce on a 2-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter to give Kansas City the 7-0 lead. He scored on a 9-yard run in the second quarter to go up 14-0.
Kansas City (2-3) hosts Detroit Sunday at 7:20 p.m.
