Odell Beckham Jr. was one of the most prominent NFL wide receivers of the 2010s, but after multiple injuries, he hasn’t been the same in recent years.

Still, at just 32 years old, he has made it clear he wants to continue playing in the NFL. However, that potential comeback will have to wait.

Beckham revealed during an appearance on “The Pivot” on Tuesday that he is accepting a six-game suspension for a PED violation last season. The suspension, which is now official on today’s NFL wire, means he will have to sit out another six games before he can potentially return to the field.

Beckham Jr. has insisted that he never intentionally took any PEDs during his time with the Miami Dolphins last season. However, before he can potentially return to the NFL, a suspension was inevitable, and it appears he is now prepared to serve it.

Beckham Jr. appeared in nine games with the Dolphins last season, catching just nine passes for 55 yards and no touchdowns. He hasn’t come close to a 1,000-yard season since 2019 with the Cleveland Browns.

After being traded to the Los Angeles Rams, he showed some promise by hauling in five touchdowns during his brief stint, but he tore his ACL in the Super Bowl against the Cincinnati Bengals and subsequently missed the entire 2022 season.

Beckham Jr. spent the 2023 season with the Baltimore Ravens, recording 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns. He started six games and appeared in 14. The following year with the Dolphins, he appeared in nine games but didn’t start any.
