A former Nittany Lion has made an NFL roster.

Jonathan Sutherland was reportedly signed to the Las Vegas Raiders’ roster after trying out at their rookie minicamp.

Sutherland spent the 2024 season on injured reserve, and has previously played with the New York Giants and the Seattle Seahawks.

The Canada native played at Penn State as both a linebacker and safety from 2017-22, tallying 137 total tackles and eight tackles for loss.
