Some notes

The practice week begins with an excellent Kansas City injury report. While there were three new names on it — linebacker Jeffrey Bassa (knee), linebacker Nick Bolton (calf) and running back Kareem Hunt (calf) — every player on the report was a full participant. This included two players who were held out of Monday’s game in Jacksonville: cornerback Kristian Fulton (ankle) and defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott (shoulder). Fulton hasn’t had a full practice since Week 2.

The Lions can’t say the same thing. Five starters did not participate in Wednesday’s practice: cornerback Terrion Arnold (shoulder), left tackle Taylor Decker (shoulder), safety Kerby Joseph (knee), wide receiver Kalif Raymond (neck) and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (wrist).

St. Brown and Raymond were both injured playing against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5. Decker was not active for that matchup. Joseph and Arnold both started. Joseph has been nursing his injury for weeks. Arnold appears to have aggravated his shoulder during Sunday’s game.

The team activated practice squad tackle Dan Skipper to the roster on Wednesday. If Decker can’t go on Sunday, either he or reserve tackle Gio Manu could start in his place.

Two reserve players did not participate on Wednesday: linebacker Zach Cunningham (hamstring) and running back Sione Vaki (groin). Both have missed the last two games.

One other starter was a limited participant: LP safety Brian Branch (ankle). He was injured against the Bengals.
