The @Titans have signed kicker Matthew Wright to the team’s practice squad.
Wright was 4-4 in two games for the Titans in 2024. In his career, he’s appeared in 29 games and has hit 55-of-63 field goals (87.3 percent), including 7-of-11 from beyond 50 yards.

The Tennessee Titans were back on the practice field on Wednesday and watched multiple starters fail to suit up, including kicker Joey Slye.
Fresh off hitting the game-winner against the Arizona Cardinals, the strong-legged kicker sat out Wednesday’s session due to a calf injury on his right leg. To ensure they have a backup kicker on standby if Slye is forced to sit out against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, the Titans moved quickly to bring back a familiar face.
The Titans signed veteran kicker Matthew Wright to the practice squad, making him eligible to be elevated against the Raiders if needed.
Wright is a veteran who has seen action with six teams during his career, including spending two games with the Titans in 2024, going 4-for-4 on field goals in relief of Nick Folk.
During his career has gone 55-for-63 on field goals (7-of-11 from 50-plus yards) in 29 career games.
The Titans will return to practice on Thursday as they continue to prepare for their Week 6 battle with the Raiders in Las Vegas.
