Former UFL standout Jashaun Corbin has found a new NFL home
Former Atlanta Falcons running back Jashaun Corbin has signed with the New England Patriots’ practice squad, the team announced on Tuesday. The 25-year-old spent training camp in Atlanta, appearing in all three preseason games.
Corbin rushed for 51 yards on 11 carries in Atlanta’s preseason loss to the Dallas Cowboys. While he initially was in the mix to be the team’s third running back this season, Corbin lost his spot to undrafted free agent Nathan Carter at the 53-man roster deadline.
Prior to his stint with the Falcons, Corbin had a breakout season for the United Football League’s San Antonio Brahmas in 2024. He led the league with 514 rushing yards, adding 138 receiving yards before Atlanta signed him back in June.
The Falcons are 2-2 coming off a bye in Week 5. They have a major test coming up in Week 6 when they host the Buffalo Bills on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football.” The Bills are 4-1 but just lost their first game of the season on Sunday night.
