NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Tennessee Titans are back from their west coast trip to Arizona with their first win, and with it also comes individual recognition.
Titans’ rookie wide receiver Chimere Dike was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week. He had a 65-yard kickoff return in their 22-21 win over the Cardinals. It gave him two of the NFL’s top-five longest kickoff returns to date in 2025. Dike’s 71-yarder against Denver is the second longest of the season, and his 65-yard return ranks fourth.
Dike leads the NFL in all-purpose yards through the first five weeks. He averaged 34 yards per kickoff return in Arizona. It’s something he says isn’t just an individual stat.
“I’m just really thankful, Coach Bones trusts to put me back there. I got a lot of really good teammates that are blocking for me. That’s a tough job, I did it during camp. There’s a reason I’m not up there right now, I’m just grateful for our group and ready to keep growing,” said Dike.

Titans head coach Brian Callahan opened his week six press conference by saying, “really good for our football team. I repeated the message to the team this morning that those are things that come along with winning. When you find a way to win, some of the individual accolades come along with it.”
Dike is the first Titan to be named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week since Darius Reynaud in week 17 of the 2012 season.
