Did your quarterback pass the test this past weekend? Was your running back unstoppable across the board on Sunday? Did your tight end make that key block that doesn’t show up on the stat sheet but completely changed the direction of the game?
Welcome to the weekly Pro Football Focus grading room, where we will break down the top five graded players from each skill position after the most recent round of games in the 2025 season.

Here’s who led the wide receivers class in week five.
(Must have played had at least five targets to be eligible for the ranking.)
Stefon Diggs (93.0)
Diggs returned to Buffalo to face off with his old team and only had one mission on his mind: to show them what they miss.
He did that in spades, playing like a kid on the playground during recess in Buffalo, dancing against the Bills‘ defense to find himself open for Drake Maye. Diggs and Maye were on the same wavelength the entire night, with Maye watching as his receiver dashed and stutter-stepped Buffalo’s secondary to find himself open down the field. For Diggs, he never let his sophomore quarterback feel left alone on the field, always finding the perfect spot to stand if Maye found himself needing to get the ball out while being converged by Buffalo’s defensive front.

Diggs had 146 on 10 receptions, showing why he was Buffalo’s go-to man only a few seasons ago and why the Patriots might have the tandem to get themselves back in the playoffs.
Ryan Flournoy (90.7)
After only having 35 receiving yards through the first month of the season, Flournoy decided to step out and have his game of the season against the New York Jets. He only had six catches but put up 114 yards, derailing an already fragile Jets defense for a career day and getting another win in the standings for the Cowboys.
Emeka Egbuka (88.9)
Egbuka has been everything and more than the Buccaneers thought he could be in his rookie season. Mr. Reliable at Ohio State, who was the rock of the team’s receiving corps, compared to the deep threat prodigy Jeremiah Smith, Egbuka is proving he can do everything at the pro level.

Baker Mayfield is gunning for the MVP and a top seed in the NFC, and Egbuka is a pivotal piece that completes the puzzle for the Buccaneers. He was targeted seven times, received each one, and had another touchdown to go alongside 163 yards.
Egbuka is no longer the sidekick or secondary receiver for any team. He has everything to carry an offense, and we might be seeing the league’s next great WR1 develop in front of our eyes in Tampa Bay.
Jaylen Waddle (86.3)
Waddle is doing his best out in Miami. The Dolphins are having a season to forget, and the season-ending injury to Tyreek Hill, along with everything else that has gone wrong in South Beach, is only delaying the inevitable for the front office. Still, Waddle, one of the few consistent positives for the Dolphins, had a great week against the Carolina Panthers in a loss, going for 110 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Josh Downs (85.0)
The Indianapolis Colts are for real. Daniel Jones is reframing his narrative in the Midwest after his rollercoaster ride to start his career in New York, and Josh Downs is becoming one of the main benefactors of his rebirth in Indy. He only had six catches on Sunday, but went for 9 yards per catch in the team’s blowout of the Las Vegas Raiders.
