The AHSAA football playoffs are approaching as teams look to hoist the Blue Map Trophies come December.

The Alabama high school football playoffs get started the first week of November on Nov. 7 with first round action. The playoffs will be at home sites during the first four rounds, with Class 7A playing just three rounds before the Super 7.

This year the AHSAA Super 7 will once again be at Protective Stadium in downtown Birmginham. It will be from Dec. 3-5 with three games a day, starting with two flag football championships.

The AISA playoffs start on Nov. 7 with the semifinals on Nov. 13. The championship games will be held at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery on Nov. 20.
