The 49ers breezed to a 21-0 victory over the Cardinals in NFL Flag Football action at Houston Playground.
The 49ers wasted little time getting on the scoreboard as Jason DiBenedetto took a hand off from 10 yards out and waltzed into the end zone with Zack Brighters taking on the extra point.

That score held up through halftime as both team’s offenses were unable to move the ball consistently.
The 49ers cushioned their lead on the first drive of the second half as DiBenedetto took a swing pass from Cian Cahill and found paydirt for the second time.
DiBenedtto’s extra point catch opened up a 14-0 bulge.

The final nail in the coffin was a late 60 yard TD sprint up the left sideline by Liam Durkin and Stephen Hliwski’s EP, which put the Niners up 21-0, and that was all she wrote.
The Cardinals did have a few noteworthy plays including long runs by Troy Cousin and Lennox Bradley as well as a leaping catch by Doug DiSandro, but were unable to cash in on them.

The 49ers, under coaches Nick Bublavi and John Cahill, seemed poised to be solid contenders come playoff time.
Cardinals coaches Chris Cahill and Tremayne Cousin have seen plenty of progress from their young team who will certainly benefit from more game experience.
