Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney may be in danger of missing Monday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills after being held out of practice for the second day in a row. Mooney is dealing with a hamstring injury and is considered “day-to-day” entering Week 6.

The veteran wideout has seven catches for 79 receiving yards this season after finishing just shy of 1,000 yards in 2024. If Mooney sits out against the Bills, look for Ray-Ray McCloud to be more involved in the Week 6 game plan. McCloud has six catches for 64 yards through four games.

Several other players, including rookies Xavier Watts and Billy Bowman Jr., were listed on the team’s Friday injury report. Watts and Bowman were both limited after not being listed on Thursday’s report.

Cornerback A.J. Terrell, who missed the last two games due to a hamstring injury, was a limited participant for the second day in a row. Meanwhile, Clark Phillips III missed another day of practice on Friday. The Falcons secondary is allowing the fewest passing yards per game this season, but Bills quarterback Josh Allen presents a major challenge.

The Bills listed several players on their initial injury report, including defensive lineman Ed Oliver and linebacker Matt Milano. Check out the full Week 6 injury report for the Falcons and Bills (once available) below.

The Falcons have one more day of practice this week due to having a Monday night game. We’ll post the updates following Saturday’s practice. In the meantime, check out the team’s updated 53-man roster and depth chart.

Atlanta’s prime-time matchup against Buffalo starts at 7:15 p.m. ET this Monday night on ESPN. The Falcons are 2-2 and coming off an early season bye week. They will attempt to upset a 4-1 Bills team that’s fresh off of their first loss of the season.

Should you play Darnell Mooney vs. Bills in fantasy this week?

Mooney isn’t having a great season (seven catches for 79 receiving yards), and he’s dealing with a hamstring injury that could hinder his productivity against the Bills on Monday night. It may be safer to roll with a different option in your Week 6 fantasy lineup. If you’re looking for an in-house option, Ray-Ray McCloud could be worth a look as the Bills attempt to take away Drake London.
