With the Giants up 20-17 and a little more than nine minutes left in the third quarter, Dart ran towards the sidelines on a third-and-three at the opposing 17-yard line.

Dart was met by linebacker Jihaad Campbell near the sideline.

So the quarterback decided to stunningly leap forward and hit Campbell helmet-to-helmet.

Fortunately for Dart, the referees didn’t call a penalty on him as he led with his helmet, which is against the league’s rules.

TAUNT IT

NFL fans stunned as Giants rookie Cam Skattebo is hit with taunting penalty

Dart would get the first down, and three plays later, running back Cam Skatteboo scored his second of three rushing touchdowns.

But fans reacted to Dart launching himself headfirst into the defender.

The youngster could earn a fine from the NFL as the league fined star running back Saquon Barkley $46,731 in Week 2 for using his helmet to charge into a player.

“Better be a fine,” one wrote.

“Welp that’s probably gonna be fine…. Anywho go Giants,” another commented.

“I’m an eagles fan and that was awesome BUT he will be fined,” a third said.

In the following drive, Dart was evaluated for a concussion following a play.

He would return in the next drive, but the NFL will now investigate the Giants after head coach Brian Daboll‘s heated confrontation with head physician Dr. Scott A. Rodeo.

Russell Wilson took over for Dart, who went to the medical tent.

However, Daboll shouted at the team’s head physician, Dr. Scott A. Rodeo, an earful, and the NFL will investigate the sequence.

The league has opened a review into the application of the concussion protocol after Dart missed just two plays, per ESPN.

The review will look at the actions of Daboll, who apologized for the nasty incident following the game.

“If you’ve ever been on an NFL sideline, there’s a lot of emotions,” Daboll told reporters after the 34-17 win.

“There’s a lot of emotions. And I certainly am an emotional guy.
