Here is the latest on Worthy’s status:
Xavier Worthy injury update
Worthy has been dealing with a shoulder injury since Week 1 and is also suffering from an issue with his ankle. He was a full participant in Kansas City’s workouts on Wednesday and Friday, but missed practice on Thursday.
How long will Xavier Worthy be out?
Though Worthy did not receive a game status designation for Week 6, Andy Reid gave a non-committal answer about the former Texas Longhorn’s disposition for Kansas City’s matchup with Detroit on ‘Sunday Night Football.’
“We’ll see how he (Xavier Worthy) did after this (practice),” Reid said in response to a question about whether Worthy was dealing with any limitations or restrictions. “I haven’t talked to him, but he did everything today, so we’ll see where he’s at.”

Chiefs WR depth chart
If one or both of Worthy’s injuries flare up before kickoff on Sunday, the Chiefs will look to veteran pass-catchers JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown, Tyquan Thornton, and Nikko Remigio to lift Kansas City’s offense against the Lions.
