QUINCY — Success was in the air Friday night in the Gem City. The Quincy High School football team beat Galesburg 44-22 in Western Big 6 Conference play at Flinn Stadium, while Quincy Notre Dame blanked Jacksonville 28-0 in Central State 8 Conference West Division play at Advance Physical Therapy Field.
Both the Blue Devils and the Raiders improved to 5-2, becoming eligible for the playoffs in the process.
