The Tennessee Titans made a small roster move on Friday ahead of their Week 6 battle with the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Titans filled the open roster spot they had after waiving offensive lineman Brant Banks earlier in the week by signing safety Kendell Brooks from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

Tennessee signed Brooks late in Week 5 after safety Mike Brown injured his knee and was placed on injured reserve. After spending training camp with the Titans and being familiar with the schemes, he was elevated for the matchup with the Arizona Cardinals and made an impact on special teams.

Brooks made a strong case for making the 53-man roster during training camp. A downhill player, Brooks flashed his ball skills and special teams prowess during the preseason and can add a veteran presence to the resurgent special teams units.

Brooks initially signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2023 NFL draft. Has has also spent time with the Indianapolis Colts, Washington Commanders, and Tennessee Titans over his two-plus seasons since leaving Michigan State. In all, he has seen action in six NFL games, with the majority of his snaps coming on special teams.

Brooks and the Titans will return to the field Sunday when they face the Raiders in Las Vegas.
