Receiver Michael Wortham did a little of everything as Montana escaped with a 42-38 victory last week at Idaho State. The senior ran for two touchdowns, threw for another and caught six passes for 124 yards for the Grizzlies, scoring the go-ahead touchdown with 3:06 left on a nine-yard run. Keali’l Ah Yat threw for 350 yards and a score, Eli Gillman ground out 48 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries and Brooks Davis finished with 104 yards on six receptions.

Cal Poly gears up for its third straight game against a ranked Big Sky Conference opponent after dropping a 34-27 decision to then-No. 7 UC Davis last week at home. The Mustangs got to within 34-27 with 1:55 remaining but couldn’t get the ball back before time ran out. Bo Kelly finished 20-of-37 for 251 yards and threw two touchdown passes to Logan Booher, who had 101 yards on six receptions. Kelly also caught a one-yard scoring pass from Michael Briscoe for Cal Poly’s last score. Montana has won the last four meetings between the teams, including a 42-7 road victory last season.

This is a great college football matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
