The NFL Schedule Release is just around the corner — and before oddsmakers can decide whether or not the Steelers will win or lose more games as a result, here is where Pittsburgh currently stands in terms of projected wins for the 2025 season.

According to BetMGM, the Steelers’ 2025 over/under win total is set at 8.5 games — the exact same as last season’s win total under Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. The over odds sit at +100, while the under odds are a slight favorite at -120.

The addition of DK Metcalf was a solid move, but unless a potential Aaron Rodgers signing does wonders for the Steelers, HC Mike Tomlin could realistically suffer his first losing season in 2025 — with QB Mason Rudolph leading a George Pickens-less offense that could fall well short of the 8.5 projected wins.

While it was easy to argue that surpassing the over/under win total in 2024 under Fields and Wilson was a breeze, doing so in 2025 under Rudolph — while facing the 10th most difficult schedule in the NFL — is a different story.
