The Arizona Cardinals (2-3) visit the Indianapolis Colts (4-1) Sunday. Kickoff from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, is at 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Cardinals vs. Colts odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.
The Colts, after suffering their first loss of the season in Week 4, bounced back in Week 5 for a 40-6 home win over the Las Vegas Raiders as 7.5-point favorites with the Under (46.5) cashing. RB Jonathan Taylor rushed for 3 TDs and QB Daniel Jones threw a pair of TD passes. The defense picked off Raiders QB Geno Smith twice and sacked him 4 times.
The Cardinals have lost 3 straight games, all on final-play field goals. After going up 21-6, they lost 22-21 at home to the Tennessee Titans as 7.5-point favorites, with the Over (41.5) cashing. RB Emari Demercado dropped the ball for a fumble before crossing the goalline for a 72-yard TD run, and the Titans scored a touchdown after the Cardinals fumbled an interception of QB Cam Ward and WR Tyler Lockett recovered it in the end zone.
The Colts and Cardinals are tied 9-9 in the all-time series. They last played in 2021 with the Colts winning 22-16 in Arizona as 1-point underdogs with the Under (50) cashing.

Colts 27, Cardinals 16
The Colts (-500) have not lost at home yet this season. They are No. 2 in the league in points, averaging 32.6 points per game (PPG). They have scored no fewer than 20 points and would have had a minimum of 27 had WR Adonai Mitchell not let go of the ball for a fumble just before crossing the goalline in Week 4.
They also are third in scoring defense allowing 17.8 PPG, while the Cardinals (+375) are only scoring 20.6 PPG, and likely will not have Murray in the lineup. Signing QB Kedon Slovis from the practice squad suggests Jacoby Brissett will likely start. Brissett is 19-34 in is career as a starter and 7-14 in his last 21 starts since 2021.
Expect the Cardinals to go down, but you’ll get better value from the spread.
PASS.
Three of the Colts’ 4 wins have been by double digits. The Cardinals’ 3 losses have been by a combined 5 points, but they have not faced an offense like the Colts’ so far this season.
With Brissett playing and down to their third- and fourth-string running backs to lead the way, Arizona won’t be able to keep up.
BET COLTS -9 (-110).
Both teams have seen the Under cash in 3 of their 5 games.
In Brissett’s 5 starts last season for New England, the offense averaged 12.4 PPG.
BET UNDER 46.5 (-110).
