The Buffalo Bills addressed plenty of holes and needs on their roster during the 2025 NFL draft.
But it’s impossible for any team to hit all of them in one go.
While the additions of top picks Maxwell Hairston, TJ Sanders, and more of the 2025 draft class will instill more hope and promise, there is always room for improvement.

Where about?
Here are the Bills’ top-three needs following the 2025 NFL draft:
Safety

The Bills are very much banking on improvement at safety in 2025. Additions were not made at the position this offseason despite no real standouts last season.
Cole Bishop did not get a ton of run last season despite being a second-round rookie. Damar Hamlin and Taylor Rapp saw more… but Bishop the player to look for in 2025. The team made an investment in him and he will get looks.
Wide receiver
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman (0) watches the play on the Jumbotron during second half action at the Bills home game against the New York Jets at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park on Dec. 29, 2024.
Despite general manager Brandon Beane getting a bit upset about it, adding to the wide receiver room was on the table for the Bills during the draft. It did not happen, but it was an option because there are no real true standouts.

Could the current roster work? Yes. Until we see it, it’s a need.
Kicker

Focusing on the kicking position might actually be a good thing. It’s a good roster in Buffalo and here we are talking about special teams over offense or defense. That’s a positive.
But winning and losing does come in small margins. Tyler Bass was inconsistent last season and he’s still being handed that job as of now.
Let’s hope for a bounce back.
