Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season is already upon us and the action will wrap up with a Monday night doubleheader. The second matchup will feature the Chicago Bears visiting the Washington Commanders at 8:15 p.m. ET on ABC.
With Jayden Daniels returning from a knee sprain last week, the Commanders were able to get back on track by racing past the Chargers in a 27-10 victory. Despite the win, tight end Zach Ertz was a ghost and we’ll see if he can contribute in this primetime showdown at home.
Below, we’ll go over Ertz’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 6.
Fantasy Football analysis: Commanders TE Zach Ertz
Ertz didn’t catch a single pass and had just one target in last Sunday’s victory over the Chargers. He was on the field for 53% of the Commanders’ offensive snaps, so he just simply wasn’t much of an option for Daniels in the road win. After a promising first two weeks of the season, the veteran has reeled in just five catches for 59 yards over the last three games and even with Daniels’ injury playing a factor, his lack of involvement should be a concern for fantasy managers. We’ll see if he experiences an uptick in targets against the Bears.
Start or sit in Week 6 Standard leagues?
Sit. Ertz already occupied the role of a borderline starter in deeper leagues and unless you have no other viable options, I’d keep him on the bench and start a tight end with higher upside this week.
