The Tennessee Titans jumped into the trade market by trading away starting cornerback Jarvis Brownlee to the New York Jets earlier in the season, and they may not be done.

NFL Network insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo report that the rebuilding Titans are taking calls and are still open for business, with edge rusher Arden Key drawing interest from teams in need of edge depth as the trade deadline approaches.

Among the edge players who have garnered interest are the Titans’ Arden Key, the Dolphins’ Bradley Chubb and the Packers’ Kingsley Enagbare.

Teams have called the Jets and Titans about potential trades, which is not a surprise given their combined 1-9 record. Tennessee remains open for business, and after the Jets return from London where they play the Broncos on Sunday, they’ll regroup and assess where they are. Trades are possible, but don’t be surprised if teams without great records acquire talent for future years, as the Jets recently did when they traded for Titans CB Jarvis Brownlee Jr. Good value is good value.

Key has all of the measurables to make an impact on the edge, but has never truly put it all together. Selected in the third round of the 2018 NFL draft by the Raiders, Key has played for four different NFL franchises and compiled 174 tackles (102 solo) and 28 sacks in 109 NFL games.

He had one of his best seasons with the Titans in 2024, recording 42 total tackles and 6.5 sacks, but he has failed to duplicate that success this season. Like the rest of the Titans’ edge unit, Key has underwhelmed in 2025, collecting only six total tackles (two solo) and 1.5 sacks through five games. Complicating matters, he will miss Week 6 with a quad injury, and no clear timeline has been given for his return.

The Titans are taking calls, and with the November 4 trade deadline fast approaching, this situation will be one to monitor moving forward.
