Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was ruled out with a concussion for the second half of Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Harrison exited in the second quarter after hitting his head on the turf after catching a 21-yard pass from Jacoby Brissett. He immediately went to the medical tent to be evaluated and was declared questionable to return before heading to the locker room just before halftime.
Harrison caught two passes for 32 yards before the injury. After being selected with the fourth pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Harrison has struggled in his second season. He played the worst game of his career in a 16-15 Week 3 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, in which he dropped two crucial catches. After the game, Harrison told reporters he wasn’t doing enough to help the Cardinals win.
The Cardinals kept things close against the 5-1 Colts on Sunday and took a 3-point lead with under 10 minutes left. But Indianapolis running back Jonathan Taylor sealed a 31-27 Colts win with a 1-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter.
