The Seattle Seahawks are taking some serious heat online after sharing a video to X celebrating their win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
Seattle enjoyed their fourth win of the season, beating Jacksonville 20-12 after Travis Hunter’s baptism, holding the rookie to minimal gains after he took a major step toward spiritual discipline by attending a church service and getting dunked under water.
They later clapped back at the Jags with a questionable post, responding to the latter sharing a photo depicting jaguar claws destroying a winged animal, presumably a seahawk, prior to the game.
Fans felt like the team’s social media admin went too far after they posted a video of a cat getting snatched by a bird of prey while chilling on some stairs.
The clip appears to be AI-generated, but that hardly slowed the backlash, as users hit out at them for being insensitive, all while being unaware of what the bird that represents the team should actually look like.

As mentioned above, the tweet sparked rife condemnation.
“This tweets getting deleted. No one wants to see pets getting eaten. Unsportsmanlike conduct,” someone wrote in the comments.
