The Cleveland Browns made a few roster changes on Tuesday, including, surprisingly, releasing an offensive tackle from the practice squad for the second straight day. On Monday, the Browns released OT Thayer Munford from the practice squad and followed that up with the release of OT Joshua Miles on Tuesday.
In the same post where the Browns shared WR David Bell’s retirement, for sad reasons, and the release of Miles, Cleveland announced signing CB Trey Avery to their active roster and adding LB Eugene Asante and DT Simeon Barrow Jr.
Avery was elevated to the active roster for the last three weeks.
Asante was a 2025 undrafted free agent signing of the Miami Dolphins, but was waived at the end of August. The Browns welcome the Dolphins to town this week. Simeon was also signed as an undrafted free agent this year, with the Atlanta Falcons, and spent a week on the team’s practice squad before being released.
