The Bucs in the NFL Draft have been on a heater thanks to the work of Jason Licht and his staff. They have done so well that they have seen people even depart to get their own teams to run, like assistant turned full-time general manager for the Las Vegas Raiders, John Spytek.

That being said, they have made some surprising picks, and because of that, the needs on the roster remain the same for the most part. For them specifically, the pass rush is their biggest need as they are likely to lose Haason Reddick this coming offseason. Bleacher Report’s Scouting Department identified three players who could be fits for the team at the position as they look to find Diaby a partner opposite him on the edge.

They suggested:

Derrick Moore, MichiganR Mason Thomas, OklahomaRomello Height, Texas Tech

R Mason Thomas would have to be a target in round one, most likely. He is a little undersized, but he is greased lightning off the edge. His step puts offensive tackles on their heels, and his bend makes them consistently at a disadvantage when they line up across from him.

Moore and Height could be selected on day two of the draft, with Romello Height being someone who has really shone in 2025. He plays opposite first-round pick David Bailey, so putting him opposite Diaby would allow him to continue working with success while avoiding double teams.
