When it comes to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the offensive coordinator position has always been a mixed bag. Former Steelers OC Bruce Arians is largely beloved by fans, even though he only had an offense that ranked Top 10 in yards once and Top 10 in scoring once. Nevertheless, Arians knows football, and when he was on the Pat McAfee Show, he had plenty to say about the new-look Steelers offense under offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.

Arians admitted he didn’t like what he saw from them at first but said now that he loves what Smith is doing with the scheme. He also said the Steleers should be able to run away and hide with the division title this year. This is due in large part to the injuries to Bengals starting quarterback Joe Burrow and Ravens starting quarterback Lamar Jackson. Meanwhile, the Steelers keep plugging along, keeping Aaron Rodgers healthy and winning football games.

This week the Steelers take on those Bengals on a short week as they have turned to Joe Flacco at quarterback after trading for him less than two weeks ago in a deal with the Cleveland Browns.
