MARYLAND (WBFF) — Funeral services have been announced for Larry “Wes” Henson, affectionately known as Captain Dee-Fense, a cherished Baltimore Ravens superfan and retired Naval veteran.

Henson, a beloved community icon, was celebrated for his energy, passion, and spirit, which will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Visitations will be held on:

Oct. 21 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at March Funeral Home – WestOct. 22 from noon to 8 p.m. at March Life Tribute Center – Randallstown.

The wake and funeral service will take place on Oct. 23, with the wake at 10 a.m. and the funeral scheduled for 11 a.m. at March Life Tribute Center in Randallstown.

The family invites attendees to wear purple in his honor.

Services will be livestreamed at www.marchfh.com, where condolences and tributes can also be shared.

Henson was known for his larger-than-life presence at Ravens games, embodying joy, loyalty, and unity, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations.
