The Kansas City Chiefs secured a statement win over the Detroit Lions on ‘Sunday Night Football’ and emerged from the interconference matchup with a 3-3 record.

Kansas City’s defense held the high-powered Lions to just 17 points and 297 yards, which marked significant improvement after the Chiefs‘ loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5.

Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who won AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance against Detroit, was among Kansas City’s biggest stars on the stat sheet. However, when the experts at Pro Football Focus crunched the numbers and evaluated the game film, it was tight end Travis Kelce who earned the Chiefs’ top grade.
