Now that the college football season is at its unofficial midway point, NFL analysts are starting to put their draft boards together and they include Notre Dame’s star running back Jeremiyah Love.

The junior is expected to leave after this season, and it is the right move considering the position that he plays. Where Love lands will help him carve out an early presence in The League, and ESPN’s Jordan Reid thinks that it’ll be the Kansas City Chiefs picking him in the first-round of this upcoming NFL draft.

He’s the only Irish player projected to go on Day 1, as Love is compared to Jahmyr Gibbs “with his explosiveness, burst, and make-you-miss ability,” said Reid. This would be a great landing spot for the Missouri native, as he’d be able to play in his home state and in an offense run by one of the top minds in the game in Andy Reid. Although the No. 14 pick does seem a bit low, Love is the only back projected into the first-round.
