Larry Fitzgerald Jr. became one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history during his 17 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. Fitzgerald recorded 1,432 receptions for 17,492 yards and 121 touchdowns, finishing his career second all-time in both catches and receiving yards, behind only Jerry Rice. The former Pittsburgh Panthers wideout was also named to the NFL’s 100th Anniversary All-Time Team, along with 11 Pro Bowls.
But Fitzgerald has devoted much of his time beyond football to philanthropy. In 2005, he founded The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation, which focuses on supporting youth education and raising breast cancer awareness. The foundation also launched the “Breast Believe” campaign, which aims to “educate communities about early detection, prevention, symptoms, treatment options, and resources for those affected by the disease.”
