The NFC North already felt like a division that would field multiple playoff teams. Now the Chicago Bears — the worst team in this division over the last few years — have life. Ben Johnson has injected life into the Bears and Caleb Williams. After two ugly wins, they look like they are ready to make the NFC North even more interesting.
Here are my takeaways from Week 6 in the NFC North from each team:

The Packers’ record does not fool me. This is a team that I think can still come up short when it is all said and done. The great teams are revealing themselves, while the Packers are tying with the Cowboys and losing to the Cleveland Browns. I am still not sold on Jordan Love yet, and this team does not have a reliable, consistent weapon at receiver. I think the Bears have as good of a shot as the Packers to win the North, that is something I didn’t think I would say after Week 2.
The Detroit Lions got humbled last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. It is clear how good both teams are, and the Chiefs were due for a statement game. It was a tough week for the Lions to face Kansas City. The Lions are dealing with Injuries big time right now, but this offense still has juice. Nobody is questioning whether or not the Lions need either of their great previous coordinators; heck, with how it is looking, they might be able to get Aaron Glenn back. The Lions still have to prove they are the best team in the NFC moving forward because right now, the Buccaneers look like the team to beat. Anything can happen in the NFC North as well; they need to take control of this division, too.

Both J.J. McCarthy and Carson Wentz spoke to the media this week, and the Vikings have remained quiet on who will be the starter. Carson Wentz has made this offense more efficient, but with either quarterback, the Vikings could end up being the worst team in this division. The Vikings are well-coached and have a lot of talent, but they have more concerns than any other team in the division. This offensive line has not lived up to expectations, and with their quarterback situation, they will be at a disadvantage in conference games. Not to mention this team has one of the toughest upcoming 7-game stretches in the NFL. I have not been overly impressed with the Vikings in the first 6 weeks, and I expect a falloff inthese next games.
(3-2) Chicago Bears
The Bears have now, for two straight weeks, shown they can win in many different ways. The Bears may have started the season off 0-2 in the NFC North, but this is now a different team and a team full of momentum. The Bears’ schedule is very favorable, and they could stack up wins before their next matchup against their NFC North foes. Caleb Williams is continually improving. The Bears’ run game has a pulse now, thanks to the best o-line combination the Bears have had in quite some time. The Bears are sitting at 3-2 and winning, yet they haven’t reached their ceiling as a team. The NFC North should be cautious, as this is just the beginning for the Chicago Bears. They might take the NFC North back.

Overview
The NFC North is wide open right now. Detroit and Green Bay look good, but they are not two teams that are a sure thing. There are two teams that can be beaten. The Bears are the one team that could shake up how the NFC North plays out. The offense has rhythm, the defense is creating 3 turnovers every game, and they will be in every game due to their great coaching. Not only is this the best division in football, but it is also the most interesting division in football. The NFC North can go just about any way.
