It’s the beginning of Week 7 of the NFL Season and things are getting started with an AFC North clash between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football.
There’s an interesting quarterback matchup at the center of this game with Aaron Rodgers and Joe Flacco; it marks just the fourth time since 1950 that two quarterbacks 40 and older started a game. (The other three times were Tom Brady facing off with Drew Brees.)
With Rogers at QB, the Steelers have won three straight games to firmly plant themselves atop the AFC North. Rogers is currently averaging 204.2 pass yards per game, which could be a career low for him if he continues at this pace, but more efficient play — taking less sacks and forcing less turnovers — has led to more success than his last season with the Jets.

Flacco, who started the season with the Cleveland Browns, became the first quarterback since at least 1995 to be traded within his division when the Browns sent him to Cincinnati between Weeks 5 and 6. Last week, Flacco made his first start for the Bengals in a 27-18 loss to the Packers. Despite the loss and a slow start, he went 21 of 30 for 179 yards and a fourth-and-goal touchdown pass in the second half of the game.
