The Tennessee Titans (1-5) are back at home in Nissan Stadium for Week 7 to take on the New England Patriots (4-2) in what should be an emotional battle between teams heading in different directions.

The Titans are spiraling and are coming off a tumultuous week after firing head coach Brian Callahan after another disastrous outing against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 6. Mike McCoy takes over in the interim in an attempt to spark growth within the struggling organization.

The Patriots, led by former Titans head coach Mike Vrabel, are surging and enter the game riding high on a three-game winning streak that includes upsetting the Buffalo Bills on the road in Week 5. Besides Vrabel, numerous former Titans now play for the Patriots, which should set an added emotional tone for the contest.

Tennessee opened the week as heavy underdogs to the Patriots, and the oddsmakers at BetMGM haven’t changed the odds even with the coaching change and have the Titans entering the weekend as 7-point underdogs. The over/under for the game is set at 42.5 points, with the Titans’ moneyline at +260 and the Patriots’ at -325.

The Titans will be looking for the performance bump that sometimes comes with in-season coaching changes and will be motivated, making for an interesting game to watch on Sunday afternoon.Â
