BOURNEMOUTH’S Nomads play host to Eastleigh Pirates after the club’s first team saw their game against Reeds Weybridge cancelled.

The Lions were due to host the Surrey side but they have now been awarded a walkover 20-0 win and five points to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.

The second side will be fielding a strong side at Chapel Gate for the visit of the Hampshire side, with Luca Firetto returning after a few weeks of illness.

Tom Gould also makes his return to Bournemouth after leaving to join New Milton for a period for personal reasons, but he will start for the club he has been a first team regular for in recent seasons.

Director of rugby, Will Croker, said the second team also have an exciting combination in midfield as Fin Raworth and brother Monty will line up.

“Fin is a terrific young player that played in the Dorset and Wilts side that got to Twickenham and was one of the standout players,” Croker said.

“Monty is his brother, who’s a much bigger guy, much more physical, very, very abrasive. And so we’re looking forward to seeing how the pair of them go.”

Bournemouth’s third team, the Wanderers, travel to East Dorset Dockers aiming to defeat their near rivals.
