The status quo was maintained on the gridiron as Adams Central capped off another undefeated regular season by defeating Woodlan on Friday evening. In Berne, South Adams pulled away from Southern Wells on Senior Night. Bellmont had the tough assignment of closing out the regular season at the second-ranked team in Class 4A, East Noble.

Another perfect regular and Allen County Athletic Conference season culminated for Adams Central with a dominant win over Woodlan. The Jets breezed to a 57-18 victory over the Warriors in Monroe.

Southern Wells stayed with South Adams until the second quarter. That’s when the Starfires put up 21 points to take a commanding 28-0 lead into halftime. South Adams cruised the rest of the way, winning 42-7.

Bellmont made the drive to Kendallville Friday to take on undefeated East Noble. The Knights backed up their high ranking by downing the Braves 60-7.
