The New York Jets are still looking for their first win of the 2025 NFL season, and they’ll be hoping to capture that elusive victory in Week 7 when they face the Carolina Panthers at home. The Panthers have been hot and cold this season, registering impressive wins over the Falcons and Cowboys but also looking overmatched in losses to the Jaguars and Patriots. Even though this doesn’t project to be one of the most exciting matchups of the Week 7 schedule, there are plenty of spots for bettors to target when it comes to player props for Panthers vs. Jets.
We’ll be using odds from DraftKings Sportsbook to look at top NFL player props for this game. Check out the SportsLine Projection Model’s forecast for the entire Panthers-Jets game, including more player props. For those new to NFL betting, check out our NFL betting guide.
Top Panthers vs. Jets props:Justin Fields Over 40.5 rushing yards
Fields admitted he needed to throw the ball more for the Jets to find success offensively. However, he’s going to be without Garrett Wilson for this encounter, and there’s little reason to take away Fields’ ability to run if his top receiver won’t be playing. I think the Jets continue to lean on the ground game despite a challenging matchup. Carolina ranks ninth in rush yards allowed per game.
Tetairoa McMillan Over 53.5 receiving yards (-109)
The Jets have been good at defending the pass, but McMillan has emerged as the clear No. 1 receiver for Carolina through seven weeks. He’s developed a good rapport with Bryce Young, who is targeting McMillan at a 25% clip. Even if New York throws extra defenders at the receiver, he’ll have enough volume to top this line. McMillan has logged more than 53.5 receiving yards in four of the six games he’s played so far.
Rico Dowdle anytime touchdown scorer (+125)
Chuba Hubbard might come back this week as the veteran running back said he was expecting to play, but Dowdle is not going to go away after the last two weeks. The former Cowboys running back has put up 389 rushing yards across the last two games, logging two touchdowns as well with one being a receiving score. Even if Hubbard does get some snaps, Dowdle will get enough touches to be in play for the end zone.
