The Green Bay Packers will take on the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. Matt LaFleur’s team is 3-1-1 after five games, including a win coming out of the bye last week, while the Cardinals have lost four straight games after starting 2-0 and could be starting a backup quarterback once again.
Can the Packers get their first road win of the season and beat the Cardinals for the second consecutive year?

Here’s how the staff at Packers Wire believes the Week 7 showdown with the Cardinals will go down:
Zach Kruse: Packers 27, Cardinals 24 (3-1-1)
The Packers score 27 points in wins and the Cardinals play in nothing but one-score games, so we’ll stick with those trends here. Arizona is dealing with key injuries and has been through a brutal four-game stretch of losses, but Jonathan Gannon’s team can’t be overlooked, especially considering the Packers haven’t won on the road yet this season. Green Bay needs to press advantages at quarterback, creating explosive plays and rushing the passer, and it’s well past time for the defense to create a big turnover. Despite the win-loss records and the Cardinals’ injury situation at quarterback, expect a close game. The Packers will need to make a big play or two late to escape with a win, but that’s just life week to week in the NFL.
Brandon Carwile: Packers 28, Cardinals 13 (3-1-1)
The Packers trounced the Cardinals last season, delivering a 34-13 beatdown in Week 6. Given the current state of both teams, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar result on Sunday. Arizona has lost four in a row, and with Kyler Murray dealing with a foot injury, he may not be able to utilize his scrambling ability if he can suit up. Also, unlike the Cleveland Browns, the Cardinals don’t have a game wrecker on defense, and their run game is in a bad spot now that they don’t have James Conner or Trey Benson. On the flip side, I’m expecting a big day from Josh Jacobs. Jonathan Taylor rushed for 123 yards against Arizona last week, and Jacobs is coming off his two best performances of the season. Green Bay has a good chance to run away with this one.

Mark Oldacres: Packers 24, Cardinals 21 (3-1-1)
On paper, the Packers look like the much stronger team, and with Jacoby Brissett set to lead the Cardinals offense again, there are not many reasons to expect an upset, but all of Arizona’s games seem to come down to the wire, they are a desperate team at 2-4, managed to put up points on an admittedly banged up Indianapolis defense last week, and Green Bay is yet to win on the road. Matt LaFleur’s squad should ultimately have enough to come out with the victory, and it may even be another case of the game not feeling as close as the score suggests, but expect the Cardinals to throw everything they have at the Packers this week as they look to save their season.
Brennen Rupp: Packers 24, Cardinals 10 (3-1-1)
Another week. Another ugly win. The Packers just seem to find a way to let inferior teams stick around and in some cases lose to them. I think that trend continues this week against the likely Jacoby Brissett-led Cardinals. I expect the Packers to try and establish the ground game and lean on Josh Jacobs all afternoon. They’ll put the game out of reach late thanks to Matthew Golden’s first touchdown of his career.
